What do we offer?

We offer a choice of handmade blinds or manufactured products. Fabrics can be the same for both although there may be a cost difference to the finished blind.

Factory manufactured blinds are machine stitched to produce a very high quality finish.

Our assortment of fabrics have been taken from suppliers throughout Europe and contain a wide variety of semi-plain and patterned options. We go the extra mile when it comes to helping our customers choose their fabric and we can place the options side by side so that you get a good idea of what’s working for you and what isn’t.

All blinds are manufactured with an off white lining as standard, although coloured, blackout, interlining and flame-retardant linings are also available. If the preference is for fabrics outside of the collection we offer, we are happy to manufacture blinds using your own fabric and linings.

The curtain headings can be made with pinch pleats, pencil pleats and eyelets. We also offer a complete range of tracks and poles.

There are many different styles of curtains to consider when choosing a window treatment as this is an important factor in furnishing a room. Curtains can be floor length but there are of course exceptions to this, such as some styles of bay window curtains, or where radiators are placed under the window being treated.

When curtains are installed in an un-carpeted room e.g. a kitchen or a room with wooden floors, it is a good idea to have the curtains slightly shorter to protect the hems from collecting dirt and dust.

For a dramatic effect, extra-long curtains, sometimes referred to as ‘puddling’, look very effective.

Very long curtains should only be considered if they are going to be a ‘static curtain’.

Another factor to take into account is the choice of lining. Face fabric lining, standard lining and blackout lining are all options, as well as inter-lining if heat is going to be a factor. This is a process which is used to bulk out the drapery, making the curtains hang better and giving them a comfortable feel. It also stops creasing and helps to extend the life of the curtains.
